The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has said, it accepts the clarifications by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on fraud and mismanagement claims against it.
Via a statement signed by Mrs Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, Director, Strategic Communications, NELFUND on Thursday 1 May, 2025, NELFUND said, “the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) acknowledges the public clarifications by the ICPC admitting errors in its earlier communication regarding the Fund’s financial records an disbursement activities.”
The Fund said, “ICPC has clarified that no fraud or mismanagement has been found in NELFUND. We remain committed to full transparency, accountability, and delivering on our promise to Nigerian students.”
