Spanish winger, Lamine Yamal, has a lot of Youngest Player records at just 17. He makes the difference in every game he features in, the La Masia graduate has amassed many amazing records while flaunting the FC Barcelona jersey.

It was two seasons ago now when Yamal fielded first at the Camp Nou against Real Betis, where he emerged the youngest player ever to debut for Barça.

Lamine Yamal who will turn 18 in July has signed a new contract with Barcelona that will keep him with the Catalans until 2031.

This new deal is coming after the youngster clinched treble in the 2024/25 season under the guidance of German manager, Hansi Flick. Yamal won the La Liga, the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.

Youngest Player to start a La Liga match

Aged 16 years and 38 days old, Yamal emerged the youngest player of the 21st century to start a LaLiga match; surpassing the record set by Fabrice Olinga with Malaga in 2012.

In October, 2023, Yamal became the youngest player ever to feature in an El Clásico, beating the record held by another blaugrana, Vicenç Martínez.

Now aged 16 years and 223 days, at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, Yamal emerged the youngest player ever to appear in a knockout match in the Champions League.

Barca discomfited Napoli and the quarter finals threw up the chance for yet another record. Yamal would emerge the youngest player ever to feature in the quarter finals of the Uefa Champions League in the game at the Parc des Princes.

Lamine Yamal and Spain went ahead to field in and win the final in Berlin, and it was he who headed the assist for Nico Williams to net the first of the two goals that downed England 2-1.
