DFB Cup 2024/25 (Final): Arminia Bielefeld 2-4 VfB Stuttgart – Millot scores brace

Bundesliga side, VfB Stuttgart, defeated third-tier side, Arminia Bielefeld, 4-2 to clinch the DFB-Pokal on Saturday 24 May, 2025, with a beautiful display from Enzo Millot leading the way at Olympiastadion Berlin.

Nick Woltemade opened scoring for Stuttgart in the 15th minute, beating goalkeeper Jonas Kersken with a low shot from the edge of the area off Angelo Stiller’s set up.

Millot added the second just seven minutes later, finishing finely from a counter-attack, before Deniz Undav added a third goal in the 28th minute, with Stiller again the provider.

Stuttgart finished the first 45 minutes with a huge three-goal lead and Millot completed his brace and the fourth for Stuttgart in the 66th minute to strike out any hopes of a comeback for Arminia Bielefeld.

However, Arminia Bielefeld hustled back with a goal of their own in the 82nd minute before Josha Vagnoman scored an own goal in the 85th minute to give them hope of a late comeback, but it was not to be for the third tier side in the end.

This triumph marks Stuttgart’s fourth-ever DFB-Pokal title and their first since 1997; the Club finished ninth in the Bundesliga 2024/25.
