I spoke with Honda Canada’s President and CEO, Dave Jamieson. He assured me that no jobs will be lost. Workers will keep their good-paying jobs and working conditions won’t change. He also confirmed that Honda is still fully committed to major EV investments right here in Canada – and we’ll work together to make it happen.

To all the workers and everyone in the auto sector, you can count on me and on our government.

I encourage all Canadians to support our auto workers and buy Canadian.
