Bayern Munich Austrian right-back, Konrad Laimer, said, his side “utterly deserve to win the title” after sharing points with the Red Bulls on Saturday afternoon.
RB Leipzig snatched a point in the Bundesliga match against Bayern Munich on Saturday 3 May, 2025 after Poulsen’s leveller in the 5th minute of additional time.
The outcome placed Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich’s title celebrations on hold until next week.
In his post-Leipzig comments, Laimer said: “The championship title is the most honest one, you win it over a long distance. We utterly deserve to be at the top, and I’m really looking forward to sealing it. We’ll win the championship title sooner or later. After being two goals down, we created many chances in the second half today.”
RB Leipzig fought hard for the point as they hope to clinch a spot in the top four.
