Winger, Ethan Nwaneri, and goalkeeper, David Raya, will wear new numbers on the back of their 2025/26 shirts after both players chose to take new ones.
According to arsenal.com:
Having spent the past two seasons as our first-choice goalkeeper, David will officially become our No. 1 as he has selected the traditional number for shot-stoppers, which has been available since the previous incumbent, Aaron Ramsdale, moved to Southampton last summer.
David’s switch had left the number 22 jersey vacant, but that has been taken by Ethan, who had previously worn 53 during his breakout campaign this term.
