Mikel Arteta, manager of Arsenal, has on Calafiori, Jorginho and Kai Havertz.
The Spaniard disclosed Calafiori and Jorginho will not be available for the Gunners this weekend game against AFC Bournemouth, however, gave a positive update on German forward, Havertz.
Calafiori has been missing in action for Arsenal in the last nine (9) games while Jorginho has been out of action since going off in the draw with Brentford last month; Havertz suffered a hamstring injury during Arsenal’s training camp to Dubai back in February.
According to arsenal.com, Arteta said: “Calafiori is out, Jorginho is still out. Jorginho’s got a bit more complicated than expected. Thankfully, he’s fine, he’s feeling good, he’s recovering well, but it was a bit more than what we wanted.”
Disclosing more update on Jorginho, Arteta said: “Yes. Hopefully, if everything goes well in the next week or so, I think he will gradually integrate in the team.”
On Havertz, Arteta said: “I think if everything goes the way it’s going at the moment and the way it’s planned, I think he will have a chance to play a few games here in the season.”
Arsenal will face AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League match at Emirates Stadium on Saturday 3 May, 2025 at 17:30 (WAT).
