The governing All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2026 Area Council Elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Activities will start with ‘Notice of Election to the FCT Chapter’ which was held on Tuesday 20 May, 2025, and end with ‘Primary Election Appeal’ on Friday 27 June, 2025.
To purchase a form for Chairmanship, a member will express interest with “₦5,000,000” and obtain a nomination form with “₦15,000,000”, while for Councillor, a member will express interest with “₦500,000”, and obtain a nomination form with “₦2,000,000”.
