Noni Madueke’s double gave Chelsea a huge advantage as the Blues cruised past Polish side, Legia Warszawa 3-0 in the Uefa Europa Conference League quarter final first leg on Thursday 10 April, 2025 at Polish Army Stadium.
Tyrique George, who joined Chelsea at the age of eight, scored the opener four minutes into the second half after Chelsea had suffered during the opening period despite dominating possession.
Blues manager, Enzo Maresca, replaced Cole Palmer at half time with Madueke who scored twice for the visitors in the 57th and 74th minutes.
Christopher Nkunku who has been unable to improve his poor form had his penalty saved by Kacper Tobiasz.
