Bayern Munich English forward, Harry Kane, described Inter as “a very good team”, saying, his side is “expects another tough game”.
German side, Bayern Munich, will field against Italian side, Inter, in the Uefa Champions League quarter final second leg at San Siro on Wednesday 16 April, 2025 at 20:00 (WAT).
Kane’s side lost 1-2 to the Nerazzurri in the first leg of the tie last Tuesday at Allianz Arena, Munich, Germany.
At his press conference ahead of the match, Kane said:
On tomorrow’s (today’s) game:
“They’re a very good team, both offensively and defensively. They caused us problems on the counter especially. You play against the best teams in Europe in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. We expect another tough game.”
On the experience of the team:
“I’ve played in a lot of quarter-finals in different competitions and always tried to lead by example and be a role model. There’s a lot of experience in the team and we want to show what we can do in these games. We need the right mentality.”
On chance conversion:
“I’d be more worried if we weren’t creating as many chances. The goalkeepers have also had very good games in the last couple of matches. We want to be more clinical and take the opportunities we have.”
