Barcelona German head coach, Hansi Flick, has expressed his happiness following his side performance against Borussia Dortmund in the UCL clash on Wednesday night.
Flick said, “I’m happy, the performance was good.”
Spanish giants, Barcelona, made light work of German side, Borussia Dortmund, beating them 4-0 in Spain in the Uefa Champions League quarter final first leg on Wednesday 9 April, 2025.
Raphinha netted first in the 25th minute for the home side, Robert Lewandowski scored twice in the 48th and 66th minutes before Lamine Yamal crowned it all with the fourth in the 77th minute.
Catalans midfielder, Fermin Lopez, in his post-victory comments, said: “I’m happy with the assist and that we won. It was a very important match. I think the whole team played really well.”
Barcelona will take a trip to Signal Iduna Park, Germany for the second leg of the Uefa Champions League quarter final tie against Dortmund next Tuesday with a huge four-goal advantage.
Following his side performance, Hansi Flick reacted: “This is how we want to play…of course 4-0 is a good result but we have to play there. I know the stadium is fantastic, the fans from Dortmund are fantastic and also the team is not bad.
“I’m happy…the performance was good…Dortmund is a really good team.”
