China has guaranteed its readiness to engage in a “trade war” with the United States (US), if the North American country really wants it.
Through the Chinese Embassy in US, China made it clear, “If the #US is bent on waging a trade war, China will #fight to the end.”
China retaliatory actions at the US is coming after Donald Trump, President of the United States (US), announced ‘Reciprocal Tariffs’ on China and countries around the world.
The Asian country has assured, it will “not let anyone sabotage the international trade rules and multilateral trading system”, saying, “the US is the one choking the throat of the rest of the world with tariff threats”.
China has also expressed it is open to takes, adding, “any talks must be based on mutual respect and conducted on equal footing.”
According to the Chinese Embassy in US: “While #China remains open to #talks, any talks must be based on mutual respect and conducted on equal footing.
“If the #US is bent on waging a trade war, China will #fight to the end.
“Pressure, threats and blackmail are not the right way to deal with China. We hope that the two countries will meet each other halfway and work towards resolving differences through dialogue and consultation, guided by the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation.”
