President of China, Xi Jinping, has come out to make it clear that, “China does not flinch from any suppression.”
Xi’s statement is coming following Trump’s ‘Reciprocal Tariffs’ on China alongside other countries around the world.
The Asian country said, if the United States (US) wants “trade war” it will “fight to the end”.
Following China’s retaliatory actions against the US by raising tariffs on goods coming into the country from America from 34% to 84%, US President, Donald Trump, announced he has raised tariffs charged to China by the USA to 125%.
At his meeting with Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, President Xi Jinping said: “China’s development over the past seven decades is a result of self-reliance and hard work, not favours from others.
“China does not flinch from any unjust suppression.”
Xi continued: “There are no winners in tariff wars. Going against the world will only lead to self-isolation.”
