Liverpool have clinched a record-equalling 20th league title in a beautiful debut season for Dutch manager, Arne Slot, after making light work of Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 at Anfield in the Premier League match on Sunday 27 April, 2025.
Anfield was set to celebrate at kick-off, however, there was an early setback when Dominic Solanke unexpectedly headed Spurs ahead after 12 minutes.
The Reds responded with force, netting five through Luis Diaz, Alexis MacAllister, Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and an own goal from U. Udogie in the 16th, 24th 34th, 63rd and 69th respectively.
This Victory brings Liverpool level with their struggling rivals, Manchester United, on 20 league championships; their second Premier League title in five (5) years.
