United States (US) Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, has sent his greetings to “Jews around the world gather to mark Passover and celebrate God’s deliverance of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt.”
Rubio said, “Jeanette and I are thinking of the 59 hostages who remain held hostage by Hamas.”
Palestinian fighters, known as, Hamas took Israeli hostages on Saturday 7 October, 2023 after launching a surprise attack on Israel which led to the killing of more than 1,000 Israelis.
Sec. Rubio wrote: “As Jews around the world gather to mark Passover and celebrate God’s deliverance of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt, Jeanette and I are thinking of the 59 hostages who remain held hostage by Hamas.
