First Lady of Imo State , Chioma Uzodimma, alongside her husband, Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, visited the family of the late Chief Pascal Gabriel Dozie CON, to offer their condolences.
Chioma said, the founder of Diamond Bank and pioneer Chairman of MTN Nigeria “was a highly respected figure in Nigeria’s business world.”
She prayed “strength and comfort for the family during this difficult time.”
In her condolence, Chioma Uzodimma wrote: “Yesterday, April 13, 2025, my husband, His Excellency Senator (Dr.) Hope Uzodimma CON, GSSRS, @Hope_Uzodimma1 and I visited the family of the late Chief Pascal Gabriel Dozie CON, to offer our condolences.
“Chief Dozie, founder of Diamond Bank and pioneer Chairman of MTN Nigeria, was a highly respected figure in Nigeria’s business world. He also served as a Director of the Central Bank of Nigeria, President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, and Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. His leadership and integrity had a lasting impact on Nigeria’s financial sector.
“We sincerely sympathize with his family and pray they find strength and comfort during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.”
