NPFL 2024/25: Heartland 2-0 Kano Pillars – Amuneke’s side end winless streak

Heartland Owerri ended its “winless streak” with a 2-0 triumph over Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League match on Saturday 5 April, 2025 at Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, Imo State.

It was central defender, Samuel Agu, that scored both goals in the 39th and 77th minutes to hand Emmanuel Amuneke’s Naze Millionaires a crucial three (3) points.

Heartland FC wrote: “Two goals, one in each half through our central defender, Samuel Agu delivers the three points to us. We have ended our winless streak.”
