@abdullahayofel tweeted: “Photos from the ongoing works on the 700km Lagos-Calabar coastal road.

“The first section (47km, from Ahmadu Bello Way in Lagos to Lekki Deep Seaport) has 30km ready for commissioning by President Tinubu, while 17km is being sandfilled. The second section (57km, from Lekki Deep Seaport to Ogun State) is progressing rapidly.

“Construction is also underway on Section 3 (65km, spanning Cross River and Akwa Ibom states), which has recently commenced.”

Sunday Dare quoted @abdullahayofel ‘s tweet and commented: “The 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road compares in relevance, vision and boldness to what we are seeing In Asia infrastructure wise particularly where visionary leaders embark on projects that will serve not just the current generation but future generations.”
