VfB Stuttgart made it to the final of the DFB Cup for the first time since 2013 with a hard-fought triumph over RB Leipzig at MHPArena on Wednesday 2 April, 2025.
Angelo Stiller, Nick Woltemade and Jamie Leweling scored for Stuttgart in the 5th, 57th and 73rd minutes respectively; Benjamin Sesko netted the consolation for Leipzig in the 62nd minute.
Stuttgart will lock horns with third tier side, Arminia Bielefeld, in the final at Olmypiasadion in Berlin on 24 May, 2025.
Bielefeld defeated Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen to reach the final of the tournament.
