Trump’s statement is coming in the midst of trade and tariff tensions between the United States (US), Canada and Mexico.
The US President imposed 25% tariffs on all goods coming into the US from Canada and Mexico; the move forced PM Trudeau and President Sheinbaum to take retaliatory actions against America.
