Bayern Munich cruised to a 3-0 triumph over Bayer Leverkusen in the Uefa Champions League knockout Play-Off first leg at Allianz Arena, Munich on Wednesday 5 March to 2025, thanks to a brace from English forward, Harry Kane.
Vincent Kompany’s side took the lead through Kane via a header in the 9th minute, beautifully converting a cross from Michael Olise.
German midfielder, Jamal Musiala, added the second in the 54th minute, and Kane sealed victory with the third goal in the 79th minute from the penalty spot.
With this fine outcome over Xabi Alonso’s 10-man Black and Reds, Bayern Munich have one foot in the quarter finals.
