Bayern Munich beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 on Tuesday 11 March, 2025 at BayArena to advance to the Uefa Champions League quarter-finals.
Harry Kane handed Bayern the lead after half-time and Alphonso Davies sealed victory as FCB won 5-0 on aggregate.
Vincent Kompany’s side lined up with Jonas Urbig in goal and Konrad Laimer, Dayot Upamecano, Minjae Kim and Davies in defence.
Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka controlled a midfield which has Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Kingsley Coman, with Kane up front.
Josip Stanišić came on for Laimer at half-time, with Serge Gnabry, Hiroki Ito, João Palhinha and Thomas Müller replacing Coman, Olise, Goretzka and Kane in the second 45 minutes.

Bayern English forward, Harry Kane, in his post-match comments, wrote: “Brilliant performance from all the boys. Doesn’t get much better away from home in a second leg. Quarter finals here we come!”
