Rivers State: President Tinubu appoints Vice Admiral Ibas as Sole Administrator

President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (RTD) as the Sole Administrator of Rivers State.

The President made the move after declaring State of Emergency in the South-South State on Tuesday 18 March, 2025.

Ibas took oath of office before President Tinubu on Wednesday 19 March, 2025 at the State House, Abuja.
