2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has sent his “heartfelt felicitations” to the Christian faithful across Nigeria as they embark on the sacred journey of Lent.
The former Vice President said, “this Holy season serves as a reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness that we must embody.”
Atiku wrote: “I extend my heartfelt felicitations to the Christian faithful across Nigeria as they embark on the sacred journey of Lent.
“We are grateful to God for the gift of this Holy season, which serves as a reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness that we must embody — not only in our relationship with the Almighty but also in our interactions with one another.
“Let those who have been blessed extend a helping hand to those in need, so that love may abound, and joy may once again flourish in our land, despite the challenges before us.”
