President Bola Tinubu has sent his “heartfelt wishes” to all Christians in Nigeria and across the world “who partake in this sacred time”.
The President said, “the 40-day period is a time of fasting, prayer and repentance, preparing believers for the joyous celebration of Easter.”
He added, “as the Lenten Season commences, Christians engage in earnest prayers, self-denial, almsgiving and deep spiritual reflection.”
