Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, Senator representing Kogi Central, has received some support Senator Ataullahjan on her sexual harassment fight against Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
Salma Ataullahjan, Canadian Senator of Pakistani Pashtun origin from Toronto, encouraged Senator Natasha to “stay strong”, saying, “we must all continue to speak out against sexual harassment for a safer, more respectful world for everyone.”
Senator Natasha’s allegation of sexual harassment against Akpabio has led to her suspension by the Ethics Committee of the Nigerian Senate.
Senator Salma Ataullahjan wrote: ““I will resist the political intimidation.”
