This is coming as President Trump hosts Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, at the White House where a press conference was held on the take over of the Gaza Strip by the US.
At the press conference with PM Netanyahu, President Trump announced, “the US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will a job with it, too.”
The US will take over the Gaza Strip after a huge level of devastation in the area as a result of the fighting between Israel and Hamas which started in the early hours of Saturday 7 October, 2023 after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel
Hamas’ surprise attack on Israel caused the death of more than 1,000 Israelis with many others taken hostage.
According to President Trump: “The bonds of friendship and affection between the American and Israeli people have endured for generations, and they are absolutely unbreakable.”
