2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has sent his greetings to Omoyele Sowore as the activist marked his 54th birthday on Sunday 16 February, 2025.
The former Vice President of Nigeria acknowledged, “What no one can take away from you, @YeleSowore, is the energy and passion with which you have engaged the system for a better Nigeria”, and said, “Indeed, yours has been a life dedicated to activism for the betterment of our country”.
Omoyele Sowore, Nigerian Politician, human rights activist and writer was born on 16 February, 1971 in Ondo State, Nigeria.
