Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed, saw off Nigeria’s President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside, First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, after attending the African Union (AU) Summit 2025.
The AU Summit 2025 held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 15-16 February, 2025.
At the Summit, President Tinubu called for combined Maritime Task Force for The Gulf of Guinea, and Navy to provide Sea lift services.
The Nigerian President also opposed the move to split AU’s Department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security.
