Super Eagles honour and remember beloved supporters lost one (1) year ago during the AFCON 2023 semi final clash between Nigeria and South Africa in Bouake, Ivory Coast.

On Wednesday 7 February, 2024, Nigeria defeated South Africa on penalties 4-2 after a 1-1 draw in the semi final of the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2023 which was hosted in Ivory Coast.
Super Eagles wrote: “We honor and remember our beloved supporters and fans we lost one year ago during our semi-final match against South Africa in Bouaké. May they rest in peace. Forever in our hearts.”
