Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has received the World Woman Hero Award from the World Woman Foundation at a Ceremony in Davos, Switzerland.

The WTO DG was handed the award on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2025 which started on Monday 20 January and concluded on Friday 24 January, 2025.
In her message of gratitude, Okonjo-Iweala wrote: “Honored to receive the World Woman Hero Award from the World Woman Foundation at a ceremony in Davos. Thank you for this wonderful surprise.
