Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, met with President of Botswana, Duma Gideon Boko, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2025 which is ongoing in Davos, Switzerland.
At a bilateral meeting on Tuesday, both leaders discussed areas of mutual interest between Nigeria and Botswana.
Also, VP Shettima welcomed Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and introduced her to President Boko.
Shettima said the meeting with President Boko “was part of Nigeria’s commitment to fostering stronger intra-African relations and economic cooperation.”
