West Ham United can confirm that manager Julen Lopetegui has exited the Club today, Wednesday 8 January, 2025.

The first half of the 2024/25 season has not tallied with the Club’s ambitions and the Club has therefore made the move in line with its objectives.
Also, West Ham United can confirm that Assistant Head Coach Pablo Sanz, Head of Performance Oscar Caro, Head Analyst Juan Vicente Peinado, Fitness Coach Borja De Alba and Technical Coach Edu Rubio have also left with immediate effect.
The Board expresses gratitude to Julen and his staff for their efforts during their time with the Hammers and wish them well for the future.
The process of replacing Lopetegui is underway.
