Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has made it clear, that, “Team Canada is ready with a strong national response if we need one” to ensure that Canadians are protected from “harmful U.S. tariffs”.

This is coming after President of the United States (US), Donald Trump, announced, his administration will establish an External Revenue Service (ERS) “to collect tariffs, duties and all revenue that come from foreign sources”.
PM Trudeau said: “Spoke with the premiers again today. I’m very grateful for their partnership and steadfast commitment to the country right now.
Our first goal remains preventing harmful U.S. tariffs, but Team Canada is ready with a strong national response if we need one.”
