Sanders’ statement is coming after Trump announced he will create an External Revenue Service (ERS) “to collect our tariffs, duties and all revenue that come from foreign sources”.
The Vermont Senator tagged Canada “our allies”, suggesting that the US President impose “tariffs on drug companies that charge us 10 times more”.
This move by President Trump has forced Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, to hold a meeting with the Liberal Party Cabinet Ministers, where they resolved to take a “national response” if necessary to protect Canadians from “harmful US tariffs”.
According to Sanders: “Trump is trying to bully our allies Canada, Colombia, Denmark, and Panama, threatening tariffs if they don’t do what he says.
Really?
What about imposing tariffs on drug companies that charge us 10 times more than other countries pay for the same drug?”
