Her statement is in disagreement with President Trump’s executive order which seeks to end birthright citizenship.
In just 24 hours in Office, President Donald Trump, signed approximately 200 executive orders, actions and memos – one of them is the birthright citizenship in the US, to deny birthright citizenship to children of parents who are temporary visa holders or unauthorized immigrants
Pelosi’s statement is in response to a tweet by information platform, Association Press (AP), which says: “A federal judge temporarily blocks President Donald Trump’s order ending the constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship.”
Nancy Pelosi quoted AP’s tweet and commented: “If you’re born in America, you’re an American. Period.”
