Second half goals from Diogo Dalot and Kobbie Mainoo in the 60th and 68th minutes were enough for Ruben Amorim’s side to scale through into the next stage of the European competition.
United who dominated without creating a great deal in the first half in the Romanian capital finished third in the Uefa Europa League preliminaries.
