On Wednesday 22 January, 2025, French Ligue 1 Kings, Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) came from a two-goal deficit to conquer English Premier League Kings, Manchester City, in the Uefa Champions League 2024/25 League Phase match at Parc Des Princes.

Les Parisiens defender, Achraf Hakimk’s goal in the 45th minute was cancelled by VAR, before English midfielder, Jack Grealish and Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland, placed Pep Guardiola’s side two (2) goals in front in the 50th and 53rd minutes respectively.

The hosts fought back and netted four (4) times through Ousmane Dembele, B. Bercola, J. Nevez and G. Ramos in the 56th, 60th, 78th and 90+3 minutes respectively.

Despite this disappointing outcome for the Cityzens, a win against Club Brugge next week will guarantee their spot in the play-off round.
