Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah, opened scoring for Arne Slot’s Reds in the 34th minute, but, through Jonathan David, Lille equalized in the 62nd minute.
In the 67th minute, Harvey Elliott’s deflected strike sealed victory for the hosts.
