On Monday 20 January, 2025, Donald Trump was sworn as 47th President of the US by Chief Justice, John Roberts; and JD Vance was sworn in as 50th Vice President of the US.
Bezos expressed delight following the “peaceful” hand over of power from Joe Biden to Donald Trump; the businessman said, “the peaceful transfer of power is a hallmark of America”.
In his congratulatory message, Jeff Bezos wrote: “The peaceful transfer of power is a hallmark of America, and it’s been an honor to witness it up close.
