Biden will hand over power to Donald Trump on Monday 20 January, 2025.
Donald Trump of the Republican Party defeated Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party in the US Presidential Election 2024 held on Tuesday 5 November, 2024 to become the 47th President of the United States (US).
Both Biden and Trump have arrived at the Capitol for the inauguration of Donald Trump who will be sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts.
President Biden wrote: “One more selfie for the road. We love you, America.”
