Swedish sharpshooter, Alexander Isak, netted twice to take his tally to 16 goals in 16 encounters for the Magpies.
Isak opened scoring for Eddie Howe’s side in the 34th minute, and went ahead to add the second in the 57th minute after successfully converting Bruno Guimarães’ assist.
Anthony Gordon sealed victory for the hosts in the 74th minute, converting Isak’s assist.
This outcome makes it nine (9) wins back-to-back for Newcastle United in all competitions.
