The Governor gave the assurance in his “progress report”, on the ongoing road projects in Ifo 2 State Constituency; he said, “no important road with economic value in Ifo 2 Constituency will be left unreconstructed”.

According to Governor Abiodun: “Progress Report on Alagbole-Ajuwon, Ajuwon-Akute, Toyin-Giwa Road, and Other Critical Roads in Ifo 2 State Constituency

By God’s grace, on or before the end of February, the Alagbole-Ajuwon and Ajuwon-Akute roads will be fully completed. Regarding the 17-kilometer Sango-Ijoko road, we have resolved to divide it into two sections of 8 kilometers each to expedite the process. We have directed the Honourable Commissioner for Works to commence construction at the worst-affected sections immediately.

We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to this constituency, as it holds great importance to us. Being a border community with Lagos State, there is significant cross-border migration between both states. It is, therefore, essential for us to enhance the cross-border experience for our citizens, and we are 100% committed to achieving this goal.

In line with this commitment, no important road with economic value in Ifo 2 Constituency will be left unreconstructed. Let us reiterate: every critical and economically viable road in Ifo 2 will be fully reconstructed before the end of our administration.”
