New Orleans Attack: British man among those k*lled

Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom (UK), David Lammy, has sent his condolence to the family of the British man who was among those killed in the attack in New Orleans on New Year’s day.

Lammy said, the UK “stand united with the US against terror threats.”

An attacker drove a pickup truck through a crowd during new year celebrations in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, and killed 14 people, leaving many others injured.

The driver of the vehicle, an army veteran, Jabbar, 42, shot at two (2) police officers, who were later declared stable at a local hospital.

Jabbar was killed in a shoot out with police officers.

David Lammy said: “Extremely saddened to hear the tragic news that a British man was among those killed during the attack in New Orleans. We are supporting his family and stand united with the US against terror threats.”
