Obasa was impeached “over allegations of abuse of office and gross misconduct”.
According to broadcast journalist, Nifemi Oguntoye: “Lagos State Speaker, Mudasiru Obasa impeached over allegations of abuse of office and gross misconduct.
“Modashiru Obasa has been replaced by Mojisola Miranda from Apapa 1 constituency. There’s heavy security presence in the state house of assembly. More details shortly.
“Mojisola Miranda sworn in as first female Speaker in Lagos.”
