The French forward scored for Carlo Ancelotti’s side in the 30th, 57th minutes.
Mbappe got his third in the 1st minute of additional time from the penalty spot to solidify the visitors’ stay at the top spot.
With this outcome, Real Madrid are 49 points atop, trailed by Atletico Madrid who have 45 points, while Real Valladolid are 10th with 28 points.
In his post-match comments, Mbappe said: “I’m happy with the hat-trick, but above all, the three points”
