Biden’s statement is coming following the State funeral held for the former US President at the Washington National Cathedral, Washington DC on Thursday 9 January, 2025.
Jimmy Carter, 39th President of the US, died on Sunday 29 December, 2024 “surrounded by his family” in his home in Plains, Georgia.
President Biden wrote: “Keeping the faith with the best of humankind and America is a story of President Carter’s life.
To anyone in search of meaning and purpose, study the power of Jimmy’s example.”
At the State funeral of the former US Leader, past Presidents were in attendance – Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
