Vice President of the United States (US), Kamala Harris, said, the wildfires in Los Angeles, California must be addressed with “the urgency it demands”.

Harris’ statement is coming as 10,000 structures are feared destroyed in the disaster.
The wildfires in California have forced more than 100,000 people to evacuate Southern California, with ten (10) people confirmed dead.
According to VP Harris: “In the midst of horrific wildfires in Southern California, we have seen extraordinary acts of heroism — including from our firefighters who continue to put themselves in harm’s way to help our fellow Americans.
As extreme weather events continue to devastate communities across the country, we must address this crisis with the urgency it demands.”
