California Wildfires: ‘The Eaton Fire is now at 14,117 acres and 15% contained’

In one of his latest updates, Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, disclosed, “the Eaton Fire is now at 14,117 acres and 15% contained.”

The Governor expressed his gratitude to firefighters who are battling the wildfires in Los Angeles.

Tens of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate Southern California as the fire spreads; and ten (10) people have been confirmed dead.

Evacuation orders have been issued from the area of Sunset to Mandeville to Encino Reservoir to the 405 freeway, and those not in the evacuation area should shelter in place.

According to Governor Newsom: “NEW: The #EatonFire is now at 14,117 acres and 15% contained.


Thankful to our firefighters who are continuing to make progress on the ground.”
