In his latest update on the wildfires in the State of California, Governor Gavin Newsom disclosed: “The #KennethFire is 1,000 acres and now 35% contained. The forward rate of spread has been stopped.

“Grateful for the heroic firefighters from Los Angeles and Ventura counties who are actively engaged on the scene, deploying both ground crews and aerial resources.”
Newsom added: “The #LidiaFire is now at 75% containment inside 394 acres.
@Angeles_NF and @LACOFD are making significant progress against the blaze.”
Due to the wildfires in California, more than 100,000 people have been forced to evacuate Southern California; ten (10) people have been confirmed dead.
